These Prototype cars were build in 1969 (Type I) and 1970 (Type II). Mercedes started some experiments with wankel rotary engines, wing doors and luxury interieur.
If there is one car where orange must be used for, then it is the Mercedes C111. A very popular color in the early 70's.
Mercedes build just 6 copies of each Type.
