FAB1

Just one word: six wheels!

Yes, yes, you are right. These are two words, but additionally it's pink and it's incredibly long and it's design is beautifully sleek and it's a Rolls Royce! So any arguments against this car are invalid.

This ride is better known as FAB1, which means that it's the first time that the license plate can be made completely with standard elements! Wohoo! And it also means that the car belongs to Lady Penelope who helps the Thunderbird Team whenever she could. But it would be absolutely in-acceptable to be driven by the Lady herself. No way, this task belongs to Mr. Parker who exactly knows how to handle it.

The model has been started to build a loooong time ago. So long ago, that the work-in-progress has been shown on a public fan event about two years ago, but it was never finished. But somehow the time was right and the time was found to complete this creation.

The canopy could be opened to show the very comfortable seat - no, hang on - it's more a kind of armchair, or couch and not just a seat. You might also discover the pink mp3 player (a bit ahead of the Thunderbird's time line, but it works so great at this place) and the drivers seat surrounded by all that fancy control elements for all the cool gadgets: Oil slick dispenser, grappling hooks, outriggers, ... Just the stuff for your daily needs.

After finishing this beauty there was the need for some decent photos. Since there are just gas stations and diners to be found in Brick-Valley, it became clear that this was not an appropriate background for a Rolls Royce. Even Brick-Valley's the town hall was not an option. So a nice real-life location was found at the royal gardens of Herrenhausen. Royal sounds way better, doesn't it? Palace, fountains and statues that all seemed to be acceptable.

Now enjoy the photos of one FAB1 at the royal gardens of Herrenhausen.
